As we celebrate National Tourism Week, TIANS is proud to launch the Tourism Community Champions Series, with our partners at Firm Foundation Media. This informative series will showcase community champions making a difference throughout Nova Scotia.

Each episode will feature in-depth interviews providing listeners with a look into career journeys, community impact, and the transformative power of tourism.

Episode #1 features Eleanor McCain, Founder and CEO of Six by the Sea. In 2021, she purchased two adjoining properties in Peggy’s Cove with a vision to create a “village within a village” that blends for-profit and not-for-profit ventures celebrating Atlantic Canadian culture and heritage.
