Tourism Week in Canada is the national celebration that highlights the economic impact and social benefits of Canada’s tourism sector among the media, general public and governments at all levels. It provides a focal point for activities organized by the provincial and territorial tourism industry associations, provincial and territorial marketing organizations, destination marketing organizations, individual businesses and other partners. Tourism Week is organized collectively by a number of public and private tourism stakeholders.

Nova Scotia Good Cheer Trail: Canada’s First Winery, Craft Brewery and Distillery Trail | June 1, 2015
Launching in partnership with Nova Scotia Tourism Agency (NSTA), the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA) and Taste of Nova Scotia, the trail includes more than 35 beverage-specific culinary tourism experiences across Nova Scotia and will officially commence on June 1st, 2015. 12 Tides – A Wine Tasting Event | June 4, 2015
Discover Nova Scotia’s premium white wine, Tidal Bay. For the first time, taste the 2014 vintages of Tidal Bay side by side; engage with the winemakers to learn more about their signature style. Challenge your palate to a flight of wines at the Bishop’s Cellar blind tasting bar, enjoy award-winning Nova Scotia seafood and hear from special guest speaker, Tony Aspler, accomplished wine educator and Canada’s leading wine writer. Black Loyalist Heritage Centre Opens Its Doors To The Public | June 6, 2015
In the late 18th century, Birchtown, Shelburne Co., was the largest free black community in British North America and the centre of the Black Loyalist experience. Now it is the home of the new Black Loyalist Heritage Centre, a significant addition to the Nova Scotia Museum family. The heritage centre will mark its official opening on June 6th, with a celebration of music and a recounting of history in The Journey Back to Birchtown. For more information, click here.
