Welcome to Nova Scotia Quality Standards Program
TIANS will be piloting the Nova Scotia Quality Standards Program in 2009.
The benchmarks of quality standards were developed after extensive collaboration with representatives of fixed-roof accommodations, campgrounds and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage.
For 2009, only those properties that are not currently participating in a quality initiative can participate in the pilot program.
When your property meets the benchmarks of quality standards it will then be designated as a Nova Scotia Approved accommodation. To view the benchmarks of quality standards and for an example of the cleanliness and state of repair form, please see below.

**Photographs will be taken during the the assessment by the Quality Consultant.
Please note that you must be licensed by the Nova Scotia Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage to participate in this pilot program.
